BIG W Midland Gate

Mandy from the Party section was incredibly helpful to me as I placed a balloon order. Mandy gave me great advise and made me a diagram to help me make a particular decoration that required some shopping at Spotlight.If you need party decoration advice, I couldn't recommend Mandy any higher. She even gave me the option to pick up the balloon order from Big W's back door so I could get them straight to my car without having to walk them through a busy Midland Gate.

Could not get service quick enough. Only one person on the Tech zone and time taken dealing with another customer. Other staff on the floor but no one jumped in to serve in the tech zone.Gave up and went elsewhere to purchase. Lost my business.

Big W stands for Big WINNER. The staff here were so helpful I felt guilty about asking for them to check for another size of low stock clothing. They searched high and low, and amazingly came up with the last one they had. Amazing, but I did really feel guilty about the lengths they went to.Customer service is alive at Big W. Thanks team!

Had to do a return for an item I bought on my Garmin watch linked to my credit card, but they refused the refund until I could show them the 'device ID' which had the same matching last 4 digits as on the receipt. I didn't even know it was a different card number to my normal card! I had the card right there, I had the watch, I had the receipt which showed the exact same amount, date and time as on the credit card statement shown within Garmin Pay which proved I'd spent that amount at that exact minute, but they still refused the refund without the device ID, which none of us could find. Well I found one number but it was different.Eventually they got a manager down who used 10 seconds of common sense and authorised the return.But what a shambles just to get a refund for something I legitimately bought!Literally 10 minutes later I had to do something similar in Target and I just tapped my watch and it was done.Simple solution is to just shop elsewhere.

Big store but if you take your time and have a look around you can find some good bargains. Took me a while to find umbrellas as someone had moved them. Ended up getting a decent mens umbrella for a good price. Can use Woolies card here too and get points.

Twice bought items with click and collect. Each time, despite specifying the colour or style of product I wanted, they selected different products instead citing we get to pick because it says assorted". I don't know of anyone who buys something and let's the staff pick the colour or model of anything! To top it off on the second order one of the product's packaging was ripped open. Absolutely disgusting customer service as well when you pull them up on it. If I could give them zero stars I would!"

This door has a good range of clothing, bedding, kids games, kitchenware and ever righty of other options.The store seems like it is getting a bit tired it needs a makeover and as Midland gate shopping centre is in makeover mode I think some of the major stores should jump on board to keep up as I can’t remember the shop looking any different for quite some time

Great store with wide shelves and plenty of space around you. Good products and staff.

I do like shopping at big w gate. But one that I think Kmart should cater for is the bigger boys that are in school. My boy is a pretty big boy he is in size 18 clothing and big w do not have size 18 in school clothing in the school uniforms section. Big w midland could you please please please think about catering for the bigger boys in the school uniform section.

On the website stating that they have a certain item in stock but they don’t. The excuse is that apparently a shipment hasn’t arrived and in another store that they cannot update the website.Not my problem as you’re misleading customers which is in breach of Australian law.Wont spend another penny in any Big W as it stands for Big Waste of time!
